Credit Reports
CreditCheck Total is an Experian service that gives you all three credit reports — Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax — plus their FICO scores. You get the full trio once a month, your Experian report daily, plus credit monitoring, alerts, fraud support, and up to a million dollars in identity theft insurance.
It starts with a seven-day trial for one dollar — you need a credit card — then it's about thirty bucks a month if you don't cancel. Lots of folks complain about sneaky billing and low ratings, so people usually grab the trial and cancel fast.
The big headline still screams "Get All 3 Credit Reports & FICO Scores for $1" — that's the seven-day trial. Right below in the important information box, it clearly says if you don't cancel, you'll be billed $29.99 each month.
To cancel your CreditCheck Total membership, call 1-877-284-7942. That's the only way — no online button. Hours are Pacific time: weekdays 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekends 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Email them at help@creditchecktotal.com if you want, or mail ConsumerInfo.com, PO Box 2390, Allen, TX 75013. But most people say the phone is the fastest route. Have your SSN ready for the automated system.
